The pace can be as fast or relaxed as the rider would like and when coming across game you can often get so close the experience is unforgettable. All our riding operators have fit, reliable and responsive horses and offer a very professional riding experience. Our riding holidays operate across Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa, each offering a completely unique experience. Some of our select riding operators can also cater to the novice rider as well as children, making it an excellent venue for couples or families of mixed ability.
A brief guide on the type of riding holidays we can offer.
- Horseback Safari - Tends to be for more experienced riders, riding in amongst all types of wildlife, maybe riding from a base each day or to a mobile camp.
- Game viewing on Horseback - Can be for all standards of riders, might be on a ranch riding among differing types of wildlife, normally returning to a lodge or permanent camp each evening.
- Horseback Adventures - Not wildlife based, might be trekking or riding on beaches all standards of riders.
Each Horseback favourite or highlight is described as either a horseback safari operation, a game viewing on horseback operation or a horseback adventure operation.

Where the cattle sleep with one eye open......
A game viewing on horseback experience. Borana would not be the place it is today without horses. When the Dyer family first came here they were the only means of personal transport. Today, all their farms still have stables. |
