About us

Managing director Karin Bloem has lived for over twelve years in Kenya. She is passionate about Africa and has travelled all over the continent and seen most of the parks, lodges and camps. Knowing Africa and its people so well, Karin can guarantee that you are offered the best lodges and camps in each price range to suit your specific requirements and also provide you the opportunity to stay in private houses in the bush or beaches of the Indian Ocean.

Going on safari in Africa is one of the world’s great adventures. At Wild Times we are very aware that this is the adventure of a lifetime and we have a very personal approach to this. Each and every safari is tailor made. Depending on your interests, wishes and budget, we will create a safari that fits you best. From the moment you set foot on the African continent till you leave, everything is put in place to offer you the most memorable safari experience, even if you like something ‘off the beaten track’. We are proud to say that we have managed to make many dreams come through and even better “exceed our client’s wildest dreams”.

Wild Times has local partners in the countries it operates in, assuring guests of receiving a warm welcome upon arrival and travelling with the comfort of knowing that reliable people are only a phone call away.

Wild Times strongly believes in responsible tourism and therefore prefers using camps and lodges that are managed in an eco friendly way that support communities in the area.  It is part of Wild Times’ social responsibility program to support conservation and communities programs.

From the balloon trip over the Masai Mara to the bush barbeque in the Samburu Hills. From the Hippo breakfast to the Game walk with the Giraffe, everything was perfect. " Nicola Featonby, UK
