Namibia - Camps and Lodges

Namibia is a country with a great diversity of landscapes, and very suitable for people who love the wide open spaces.  Below you find a short introduction to various regions of Namibia, In the column on the right you find all camps and lodges we prefer using. If a camp or lodge is not mentioned, it doesn't mean we can't book it. Just contact us! The choice is immense. It's our role to select lodges and camps that fit your interests, lifestyle and wishes best, so that you will have that experience of a life time!

 

  • Damaraland, a most interesting region well known for several rock-painting sites, the endangered Welwitschia and the elusive desert elephants.

  • Etosha
    National Park is the most famous of Namibian National Parks. Based around the enormous Etosha Pan, the park has a diversity of animals like the rare black-faced impala.


    Sossusvlei & The Namib Naukluft National Park is well known for some of worlds highest sand dunes. The best place to make a hot air balloon flight over the dunes.


    The German influence can be best seen in the coastal town of Swakopmund, with a choice of historical buildings. The coastal regions to the north of Swakopmund are a anglers dream and famous for the enormous colonies of Cape Fur Seal. 

    The Caprivi area is a fascinating region full of wildlife-rich game parks, great bird watching and sightseeing opportunities.


    The Skeleton Coast is an remote coastal region littered with whale bones and numerous shipwrecks. This barren land is hauntingly beautiful and as well as being the unlikely home to elephants, lions, giraffe and black rhinos.


    Windhoek , Namibia’s capital dominates the Central region, an area with numerous game reserves.

     

    The best time to visit Namibia during the months April – October. During the summers it will be hot and chance of  heavy rains sometimes making the gravel roads impassable.
